The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has responded to the unavailability of the decision to transfer him from Durrës prison to Fier prison.
In a Facebook post, Veliaj demands that the authorisation of the Prime Minister be made available to him, on the basis of which the relevant authority was authorised to classify the document as secret.
Earlier, the General Directorate of Prisons informed that legal procedures had been respected, but that the reason for this move is a state secret. The statement clarifies that Veliaj has been placed in the admissions section in Fier, where all those transferred to a prison for the first time are processed.

It took 31 hours for us to finally be told that the decision is secret!
So, not only is the act not made available to us, but it is also intended to deny us the opportunity to know it, challenge it and effectively appeal it.
So we move to the next page of this farce: from the arbitrariness of decision-making to hiding it behind a state secret!
Make available to us the authorisation of the Prime Minister of the country that authorises you as a classifying authority.
