A post by moderator Ledion Liço on social media, with the line “They say you miss us”, was enough to further stoke fans’ curiosity about the new edition of Big Brother VIP Albania. The message was interpreted as a sign that preparations for the new season may be taking shape, although there is still no official confirmed date for the show’s start. This topic was also discussed in the second part of the programme “Ftesë në 5”, hosted by Bieta Sulo, where guests shared their expectations, speculation about the names that could join the house, and some ideas on how this edition might come together.
The studio also discussed the possibility of Arbër Hajdari returning in the role of opinion analyst. In fact, during the conversation it was mentioned that he has been pressed about this matter by Ledion himself. The names listed were: Bujar Qamili, Mira Konçi, Robert Berisha, Viola Spiro, Deta Kokomani, Fero. Asked which of them would be most interesting for this format, Desjana Rapaj singled out two names. “In my opinion, Fero and Bujari would be more interesting. Bujar Qamili, yes and yes, but Fero would also be a good addition,” she said.
One of the spiciest moments of the discussion was about Robert Berisha. “I won’t get too involved with Roberti, because Roberti is only good for looking handsome. Come on, goodbye!” Desjana said. The conversation continued with comments about the singer’s appearance, including a joke that drew laughter:
“My grandmother told me: A husband should be a little better-looking than a monkey.” One of the strongest opinions in the studio was that most of the people mentioned may not manage to last long in the Big Brother house. “I would put it this way: 80% of them will be out in the first week, at most the second, don’t make me point fingers. Bujari can’t handle the isolation. Once you’re inside, there’s a different atmosphere there,” Ardi said.
As for Mira Konçi, it was discussed that her age and family commitments could make it harder to cope with such an experience. However, this view was challenged by others in the studio, who stressed that age does not necessarily have to be an obstacle to being part of the format. “But why do you look at age? It may depend on ability, ambition, type, what kind of character you have?” was Oksana’s counterargument. Two other names discussed were Viola Spiro and Deta Kokomani. For them, the discussion centred mainly on the dynamics that could arise if two personalities with different profiles were to face the same experience.
