The marriage of Brazilian Roma footballer Wesley to Amanda Martins has ended amid serious accusations. His wife has broken her silence on social media, claiming she has uncovered evidence of repeated infidelity.
Wesley’s private life has come into the spotlight after statements by his wife, Amanda Martins. The couple, who also have a daughter, had been living apart for some time, and their relationship now appears to have ended amid controversy.
Amanda chose to respond through several Instagram posts, explaining that constant online rumours pushed her to tell her version of events.
She claims the footballer repeatedly cheated on her during their relationship, also mentioning other women and prostitutes. According to her, there were numerous episodes, not an isolated incident.
Martins said she had discovered photos and videos on her husband’s phone which, according to her, proved the alleged meetings. She said she had transferred the materials to her own phone.
Amanda also said that when she had previously confronted him with her suspicions, Wesley had denied the accusations, even swearing on God and on their daughter.
“I cried all my tears. It was a terrible shock for me,” she said, adding that she had given him several chances to tell the truth, but he had not admitted it.
