Prosecution challenges Frroku’s innocence verdict at Appeal

“There are unanswered questions. I am here because my life is not over. My victory will come, sooner or later, because I never surrender”, this is what wrote on Facebook Anila Lamaj, the wife of the late Chief of Police, Dritan Lamaj, one day after the Court of Serious Crimes decided for his innocence.

Despite the Court’s decision to consider the life-in-prison request as unfounded, the Prosecution chose to stay silent. Top Channel contacted with the Press Office of the Prosecution General about an official version, but no comment was given.

The Prosecutors declared unofficially that the Court has interpreted the evidence in a biased way. According to them, the three security cameras do not show the entire area that has been covered, and the Court’s argument that the witness arrived late is not founded.

Next week, the Prosecution will challenge the verdict at the Court of Appeal, basing their arguments on the witness who Is under protection
