Rama thanks businesses: “Floods united Albanians”
Business solidarity and donations for flooded areas, coming from Kosovo, Macedonia and Presheva, are a rare case that had never seen before, according to the Head of Business Albania, Luan Bregasi.
The Minister of Social Welfare, Erion Veliaj, says that this gave a good lesson to politics in general by focusing on the real needs of the population, not the bureaucratic ones on which the Democratic Party insisted.
“They did not need documents and decisions, but physical donations, cattle, appliances, etc”, Veliaj declared.
The Albanian Prime Minister held a meeting with the businessmen who helped the people in need, and mentioned a new relation between businesses and the government. Rama promised that it will be even better in the future. For Rama, this was an act of unification for the Albanians of the region.
“It proved that it is not difficult to be united, because we are all ready to do this”, Rama declared.
Rama said that this solidarity with will be helped by a meeting of both governments in the next month, when they will take decisions for helping the businesses which operate between Albania and Kosovo.
“This is the time to unify all licenses and authorizations given in both sides of the border. We are ready with a very aggressive package to go in this direction”, Rama declared.
Rama announced a facilitating package for enterprises within the country.
“Making it easier for all those problems that not only create costs of money and time, but are also a source of corruption”, Rama underlined.
These measures that Rama announced in presence of businesses, aim to improve the climate between the government and businesses in the future, and to give a message for the flooded residents in the present.
