Telekom Albania officially unveiled

Telekom Albania is the new name of the leading telecommunication company in Albania! After 20 years of success and innovation in the market, the company who brought wireless communication in the country is now offering its services under the Telekom brand identity.

The new corporate identity was introduced in a press conference, where dr.Klaus Mueller, COO, Europe, Deutsche Telekom, and Dimitris Blatsios, CEO of Telekom Albania, presented the Telekom brand and its values as well as Deutsche Telekom’s leading telecommunication strategy in front of Edi Rama, Prime Minister of Albania, ambassadors, special guests and media representatives.

Almost 20 years of telecommunications history and contribution to society now become part of the big Magenta family and get a European-level endorsement. The Telekom brand stands for competence, innovation and simplicity, but the benefits of customers go far beyond that. They will enjoy an unparalleled customer experience, connected anytime, anyplace, as the company’s new slogan implies: “Çasteqenalidhin”. Also, Telekom Albania’s customers will be connected by the latest 4G technology, according to license agreement.

Dimitris Blatsios, CEO of Telekom Albania, emphasized the importance of this decisive moment: “This is a significant milestone in the history of our Company and a major development in the telecommunications sector of the country. The brand identity of Deutsche Telekom and what it represents will bring forward a new world of infinite possibilities for the customers and the communities we serve. Telekom Albania launches today the 4G services, enabling our customers to enjoy unprecedented speeds in their mobile experience”.

Telekom Albania’s fourth generation technology reaches up to 150 Mbps, enabling transmission of huge data quantities over the shortest period of time and thus, giving way to numerous useful applications in everyday life. The products and services of Telekom Albania are offered via the biggest retail network in Albania. The Telekom Shops represent hubs of the latest technology solutions and stand for excellent customer experience. Customers will see a number of significant changes across main touch points, such as the company’s new website: www.telekom.com.al.

The official launch of Telekom Albania will be celebrated within a series of interactive events. As a key highlight, the media campaign “We connect people in Europe!”, which to date, Deutsche Telekom has launched in twelve European countries, is being brought to life with a near perfect scale creation of European landmark buildings from the campaign on the main square of Tirana, inviting people to experience how Telekom Albania connects them to Europe.
