Mediat e huaja pasqyrojnë lumturimin e 38 martirëve

Lumturimi i 38 martirëve ditën e sotme në Shkodër është pasqyruar edhe nga mediat më të njohura botërore. 20 mijë persona morën pjesë në meshën e mbajtur për martirët në katedralen Shën Shtjefni.

Mediat britanike e ato gjermane e kanë pasqyruar gjerësisht ceremoninë. ‘Associated Press’, ‘Daily Mail’ e ‘Deutsche Welle’ shkruajnë se 38 martirët u ekzekutuan gjatë regjimit diktatorial të Enver Hoxhës ose u burgosën. Gjatë vizitës në Tiranë dy vite më parë të Papa Franceskut, në bulevardin ‘Dëshmorët e Kombit’ u vendosën postera të mëdha të 38 martirëve.

“Lumturimi i tyre është shpërblim nga Zoti. Është shpërblim për ne, popullin dhe të gjithë botën”, ka Kardinali Ernest Simoni.

Në prill të këtij viti, Papa Francesku njohur zyrtarisht si martirë 38 priftërinjtë e vrarë gjatë komunizmit.
