Police have fined 36 protesters 5,000 new lekë each after they blocked the flow of vehicles during a rally held yesterday on “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard and on Durrësi Road.

They blocked the road and obstructed vehicle traffic during yesterday’s rally; 36 administrative measures have been imposed, pursuant to the Normative Act.
Pursuant to Normative Act No. 5, dated 28.10.2026, under point 2 of Article 24/1, 36 minutes have been drawn up for the establishment of administrative offences.
The administrative measures were imposed because, during the rally held on “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard and Durrësi Road, these citizens blocked the road, obstructing the flow of transport vehicles. Despite repeated calls by Police officers, through a megaphone, to clear the road, they did not comply with these calls.
A fine of 5,000 lekë has been imposed on each of them.
The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
