Measures against masked protesters, or those who shoot at police or damage businesses, will take effect before the Assembly reviews them. The amendment to the law on assemblies will be approved by normative act, allowing immediate implementation, while Parliament will have to vote on it within 45 days. Socialist MPs held their group meeting under the leadership of Edi Rama, where compensation for businesses damaged during protests was also discussed, with the package of measures expected to be included in the 2027 budget. The instruction given to socialists was to go out into the field and explain the government’s social packages.
