He has just announced dictatorship! At least in his sick mind. Because he forgets one thing: Albanians will never agree to go back 36 years, just to protect Edi Rama’s chair.
Edi Rama took responsibility for police violence against students and young people, while warning that he will gouge out the eyes of anyone who protests. He will shut up anyone. He will imprison anyone. He will fine anyone.
What you saw today is the real Edi Rama: a thieving dictator, ready to do the greatest harm to the country to keep his chair. Today you saw an Edi Rama weaker than ever, who faces the students’ protests and sees in them a direct challenge to his power and the risk of being held accountable before justice.
None of what he said will be implemented. Every letter of the package “Against Students” is unconstitutional.
Edi Rama is a politically finished prime minister. The countdown has begun. No threat will stop the will of citizens for good governance, freedom, justice and democracy.
