Republican Congressman Joe Wilson has responded to the protests in Albania. In a post on the platform “X”, the American congressman calls on the “Rama 4” government to refrain from any form of violence against protesters and stresses that young people must have a voice in shaping their country’s future. “I am following with great concern the escalation of the crisis in Albania, an ally of NATO. The Albanian people deserve freedom, the rule of law and institutional accountability. The government must refrain from any form of violence against protesters. Young people deserve to have a voice in determining the future of their country”.
