An accident was recorded in the village of Farret, in the Stravaj administrative unit of Librazhd, where a “Benz” vehicle left the road and ended up in a ravine about 150 meters from it.
The driver of the vehicle was 22-year-old Renis Pajtim Kalnxhi, born in 2004, who was injured and transported to the Librazhd Hospital for medical treatment. According to preliminary information, he is out of danger.
Checks at the scene showed that there were no other people in the vehicle. While searching the area, near the wrecked car, police also found a pistol-type firearm, which was seized as material evidence.
Meanwhile, sources say the 22-year-old is suspected of being involved in a conflict before the accident, during which he may have been injured before the vehicle left the road.
Librazhd Police are continuing their investigations to clarify the full circumstances of the incident, and to determine whether the suspected conflict is linked to the accident.
