A tragic accident was recorded in the area of the “Bahçallëku Bridge” in Shkodër, where a 67-year-old woman lost her life after being struck by a vehicle while walking on the sidewalk.
According to preliminary information, the car driven by a 27-year-old woman with the initials B. P. left the road, as the driver is suspected of having lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle then crashed into the metal stairs of a building, also hitting pedestrian E. B., 67, who died from her injuries.
Police services arrived at the scene, while the investigative team is working to determine the full causes and circumstances of the accident.
