Clashes between police and protesters have marked another controversial episode, this time involving journalist Renaldo Salianji. During the student protest, police officers pushed the journalist, while the situation escalated further after a remark from the leader of the FNSH group, who addressed Salianji with the words: “Më plasi se je gazetar” (“I’m fed up that you’re a journalist”). This reaction has raised questions about how the journalist was treated during the protest, as well as about respect for the media’s role in reporting events on the ground.
