The voting and vote counting process for the election of the head of the Democratic Party branch in Fier has been completed.
At the conclusion of the process, candidate Enkelejda Veliu won with 196 votes, followed closely by candidate Ardian Ferro, who received 192 votes.
A total of 834 members took part in the vote. Eight votes were declared invalid, while one other was damaged.
In her message to Democrats, Veliu first expressed thanks for the support, stressing her commitment to remain close to every Democrat.
This is the first time a woman has been elected to head the Democratic Party branch in Fier.
