A serious accident involving three vehicles was recorded on Sunday evening on the Rrogozhinë-Lushnjë highway, near the Grabjan roundabout, in the direction of Lushnjë.
As a result of the chain collision, one of the vehicles ended up overturned on the road, while a driver was injured and transported to the Lushnjë hospital for medical assistance. According to preliminary information, he is out of danger.
A vehicle that lost control and overturned on the highway is suspected to have caused the accident. To avoid colliding with it, the driver of a “Benz” vehicle braked immediately, but this caused the other vehicles to crash into one another one after another.
Road Police services have arrived at the scene and are working to manage the heavy traffic and document the accident. Firefighters from Lushnjë have also intervened to clear the road of debris from the vehicles involved in the collision.
