Prime Minister Edi Rama, during the presentation of this year’s Progress Report by the European Union’s new ambassador in Tirana, declared that Albania is entering the final phase of negotiations for EU membership. “Albania is entering the last kilometer of negotiations for membership in the European Union”, Rama wrote in a Facebook post, stressing that this moment requires responsibility and care so as not to lose the historic chance of European integration. The head of government emphasized that Albania’s European fate is now in the hands of Albanians.
