Erjon Vishkulli has once again reacted on social media after the surgery he underwent in Italy a few days ago. The young man, who was wounded in the eye by a rubber bullet during a protest a week earlier, says he is now facing another important challenge: restoring his vision.
In his message, Vishkulli thanked his family, friends, and Albanians inside and outside the country for their support, phone calls, and the many messages.
He said the solidarity shown has given him strength and hope to move forward, while thanking God and hoping that this challenge will also end successfully.
THE FULL REACTION
In these difficult moments of my life, where after great pain I am also facing another important challenge regarding the sight of my eye, I want to express my most sincere gratitude to everyone.
A special thank you to all my friends, my family, and Albanians wherever they are in the world, who have stood by me with messages, phone calls, warm words, and prayers. Every word from you has given me strength, hope, and courage to move forward.
At a moment when the heart needs support, you showed me that I am not alone. The solidarity, love, and respect you have given me have an extraordinary value for me.
Thank you to all Albanians, wherever you are, for showing me that the Albanian heart is always close to one another, in good days and especially in difficult days.
And above all, I thank God for the strength, for life, and for the hope He gives me every day. I pray that this challenge passes successfully and that all of us have health and blessings.
God reward each of you for your love and support!
Endless gratitude, May good Albanians prosper
