Academic Luan Omari was laid to rest in a funeral ceremony organized by the Academy of Sciences of Albania, attended by representatives of institutions and the academic community.
The ceremony was also attended by the Prefect of Tirana County who, together with the Deputy Mayor of Tirana Municipality, Sadi Vorpsi, paid respects to the renowned academic.
Luan Omari was one of the active participants in the National Liberation Antifascist War and one of the prominent names in constitutional law in Albania. His contribution to science, jurisprudence and academic life has left an important mark on the intellectual and national heritage of the country.
On this day of farewell, the Prefect of Tirana County expressed his most sincere condolences to the family, relatives and the academic community, praising the work and contribution of academic Luan Omari.
His memory and work will remain part of the heritage of Albanian science and culture.
