Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj has been transferred from the pretrial detention facility in Fier to the hospital detention unit.
According to information, the transfer took place on Sunday, 1 November, due to a fracture in his leg.
On 28 October, the mayor of Tirana was unexpectedly transferred from the Durrës detention facility to the one in Fier.
