A severe tragedy in the village of Demiraj in Gjilan, where a 27-year-old man and his 3-month-old daughter were found dead, is being investigated by the Basic Prosecution Office of this region. The father of the 27-year-old, 65-year-old B. Demiri, has been arrested in connection with the incident and is suspected of aggravated murder.
The first hearing against the suspect is being held today, while the Prosecution has filed a request for the imposition of a security measure. The court is expected to rule on this request. According to media in Kosovo, a rope was found at the scene, which is suspected to have been used in an attempt to stage the circumstances of the two victims’ deaths.
