At today’s protest in front of the Ministry of Education, one of the protest leaders stated that we have decided to put forward a representative candidate from our ranks in Tirana. “If the other parties want to support us with the candidate for mayor of Tirana, we welcome it; if not, let them look to their own affairs”.
So the students and the “flamingo” protesters are crystallizing the idea of running a candidate for mayor of the capital with a name they will put forward.
It seems we will see interesting developments in Tirana, because the Democratic Party (PD) and other parties may support the protest’s candidate.
