The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, spoke today at a press conference, where he called for a massive national protest tomorrow at 12:00.
“Dear citizens, tomorrow at 12:00, the DP invites all its members, supporters and backers from across the country to a massive national protest in support of the student revolt.
In their multifaceted revolt, students have demonstrated the unprecedented courage of citizens on the streets and squares of Tirana. Students, in their revolt, have brought the narco-state to its knees not once, but several times. With their bravery, the girls and boys of high schools and universities have earned worldwide sympathy. With their courage and bravery, the students have made every Albanian proud today. There are numerous protests everywhere, but the largest international media and the most powerful social networks are filled with scenes of student heroism and government brutality on the streets of Tirana. They have raised the name and dignity of Albanians”, Berisha said.
