Students are set to hold a national protest today, after several weeks of gatherings and reactions against the government. Under the call “We won’t stop without resignations,” young people have announced a gathering at 12:00 in front of the Ministry of Education.
The protest is expected to be joined by teachers, who in recent days have boycotted the teaching process in support of the students. Representatives and supporters of the opposition are also expected to take part in the rally.
The students’ main demand remains the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama. In their calls, they have also demanded a change in the current political class and a new spirit in the country.
After three weeks of protests, the students state that they will continue mobilizing until their demands are met, while today’s rally marks another stage of the student protest.
