Head of the Democratic Party parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, has called on the Tirana Prosecution Office and law enforcement bodies to act immediately to identify those responsible for the serious injury to young man Erion Vishkuli.
In his reaction, Bardhi stresses that both the person who ordered the attack and the alleged perpetrator must be identified, calling for those responsible to be brought before justice and arrested in accordance with the law.
According to Bardhi, Vishkuli was shot in the eye and, at the time of the reaction, was undergoing surgery, while doctors were trying to save his sight in the left eye.

The Tirana Prosecution Office must act immediately, without any delay, to identify the person who ordered and the perpetrator of this macabre act, of shooting a young man in the eye with a bullet, who at this moment is fighting in the operating room to save the sight in his left eye.
Today, not tomorrow!
Whoever ordered it and whoever carried out this grave act must be identified, brought before justice and arrested without any delay, in accordance with the law. Tomorrow may be too late. The Prosecution and law enforcement bodies must demonstrate through concrete actions that the life and health of every citizen are sacred and that no one is above the law when the rights and physical integrity of a young man are violated!
Erion Vishkuli is a young patriot, an ultras fan of the national team and of Elbasani, who was protesting for a better Albania. He has committed no crime and has done nothing wrong that could justify such violence. No circumstance can justify such a macabre act.
