The situation at the Prime Minister’s Office is not calm this Sunday evening. A group of protesters threw fireworks and stones at police officers near the Prime Minister’s Office area.
According to reports, the protesters used pyrotechnic materials and hard objects against the officers, while police are intervening with tear gas and water cannon trucks to disperse the crowd.
Clashes between police and protesters were also seen on “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard, after some young people struck the facades of several businesses at the Twin Towers.
State Police moved in among the protesters and detained several citizens, spraying pepper spray on some of the protesters.
