The head of the Socialist Party (PS) parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, has commented on former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku’s attendance at plenary sessions, arguing that she is present at the moments when votes on important parliamentary issues are required.
Asked by journalists what value her political agenda holds for the Socialist Party when a deputy has not taken part in the work of the Assembly for months, Balla said the parliamentary group has 82 members, who support the government’s reforms.
“The PS parliamentary group consists of 82 members, and all of them are always there to vote and to support these reforms, because the PS contract is a contract with Albania”, Balla stated.
Regarding Balluku’s absences from plenary sessions, he said the former deputy prime minister has been present at the times set for votes, while praising her engagement in the electoral zone.
“It was 2 weeks ago. In the middle of the day, at the set time, always there. As for presence in the electoral zone, she is among the best PS deputies”, the head of the socialist group said.
Balla also referred to Balluku’s engagement in Fier, stating that she would be present in this zone the following day as well, at 17:00.
