Partizani is going through one of the most difficult moments of the season. Changing two coaches within nine weeks has not brought the expected improvement, and the reds close the first half of the championship at the bottom of the table, with only four points collected.
The latest defeat to Elbasan, despite contested incidents during the match, has brought back into focus the deep crisis the Tirana club is experiencing. The figures speak clearly and show that Partizani’s problems are bigger than a question of coaching.
The arrival of Mislav Karoglani has not brought the awaited turnaround either. The Croatian began his spell on the reds’ bench with three defeats in three matches, showing that a change of technical leadership is not enough to pull the team out of this situation.
At the end of the first half, Partizani sit in last place in the “Abissnet Superiore”, with a worrying record of one win, one draw and seven defeats. With only four points, the reds face the risk of relegation if the trend does not change in the upcoming matches.
The problems are visible in both departments, but especially at the back. Partizani have scored 10 goals in nine weeks, a figure that makes their attack one of the least productive in the league. However, this does not appear to be the main concern, as other teams also have similar figures in attack.
The biggest problem remains the defensive unit. Partizani have conceded a full 21 goals in nine matches, recording the weakest defence of the season so far.
