Didier Deschamps, the France head coach who handed over the role to Zinedine Zidane, does not appear ready to return to club management, especially not in the middle of the season. He has been under consideration by several clubs recently, but has chosen not to accept any of the offers received so far.
The latest offer, reported in England, came from Manchester United. The English club had proposed that Deschamps take charge of the “Red Devils”, given the team’s poor form under Carrick this season. However, the French coach has made it clear that he is not currently interested, as he wants to calmly weigh all options for his professional future.
This refusal follows another significant offer, a three-year deal worth astronomical figures from Al Ahli in Saudi Arabia. Deschamps has also been mentioned as a possible candidate to replace Spalletti at Juventus, should the latter be dismissed. These repeated refusals clearly indicate that Deschamps is not inclined to take over a team in the middle of a football season.
