Inter have returned to winning ways in Serie A, beating Como 2-0 in their match at San Siro. The team coached by Cristian Chivu settled the game within the first 20 minutes, thanks to goals from Pio Esposito and Marcus Thuram.
The Nerazzurri started the match at a high tempo and took the lead in the 10th minute. Thuram played a pass to Spence, who sent a low cross into the box, where Pio Esposito was accurate in beating goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.
Nine minutes later, Inter doubled their lead. After a cross from Zielinski, the ball ended up at Thuram, who turned nicely and sent it into the net for a 2-0 result.
In the second half, Como tried to respond, but their possession did not translate into clear scoring chances. Inter calmly managed the lead, while Dimarco and Thuram had opportunities to extend the difference.
The best chance for the visitors came in the final minutes, when Nico Paz hit the crossbar with a sudden left-footed shot.
With this win, Inter take three important points, while Como suffer a defeat that also costs them fourth place, which has now been taken by Milan.
