The defeat in the derby against Milan has prompted deep reflection in the Nerazzurri camp. Coach Cristian Chivu called a meeting of all Inter players at the training centre in Appiano Gentile, requesting an open analysis of the problems and difficulties that have emerged at the start of this season.
The meeting took place in a constructive atmosphere, with no debates or clashes between players and the technical staff. Chivu asked the footballers to take responsibility for the mistakes made and, above all, to stop giving gifts to opponents, which have affected the team’s results.
The coach’s message was clear: Inter need an immediate reaction on the pitch, not just promises or discussions inside the dressing room.
On the other hand, the team’s veterans, led by Nicolò Barella, assured the technical staff that the desire to win and the competitive mentality have not disappeared. They recalled that just five months ago Inter were celebrating winning the title and the Coppa Italia.
Now, the Nerazzurri aim to change course starting with the next two matches, first against Feyenoord in Europe and then against Como in the league.
