Milan secured their first derby win of the 2026/27 season over Inter, triumphing 3-1 in the crucial Serie A Week 10 fixture. The Rossoneri, coached by Ruben Amorim, produced a fantastic first half, laying the foundations for victory against their city rivals at the San Siro.
The Rossoneri took the lead in the fourth minute. Moreira delivered a superb cross for Christian Pulisic, who sent the ball into the net with a precise header to make it 1-0.
Just six minutes later, Milan struck again. Following a corner and a move prepared by Moreira, the ball ended up at Adrien Rabiot’s feet. The French midfielder finished with a clever touch, beating the Nerazzurri defence to double the lead to 2-0.
Inter responded after the 20th minute and managed to reopen the game in the 28th minute. Following a corner, Akanji deflected the ball towards Alessandro Bastoni, who, alone in front of goal, made no mistake, cutting the deficit to 2-1.
The Nerazzurri tried to capitalise on their momentum, while Milan dropped back somewhat into their own half. However, the next goal came again from the Rossoneri. In added time at the end of the first half, Moreira perfectly converted a penalty, scoring the third goal and sending Milan into the dressing room with a 3-1 lead.
A spectacular first half for Amorim’s side, with Moreira being the main protagonist, directly contributing to all three of the Rossoneri’s goals.
