Well-known Albanian weightlifter Erkand Qerimaj appeared this Thursday at the premises of the Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organised Crime (SPAK). So far there is no official information on the reasons for his summons.
The Albanian athlete arrived at the SPAK premises following a summons to appear at 11:15.
It is still unknown what case Qerimaj was summoned for by the Special Prosecution and whether his appearance is linked to a specific investigation. Likewise, there is no official data on whether he was summoned to give explanations or in some other procedural capacity.
Erkand Qerimaj is one of the well-known names in Albanian weightlifting, with a long career at the national and international level.
