Albania, Hungary sign agreement on pension transferring
Albania and Hungary signed an agreement on Wednesday which will give the opportunity to the Albanians living in Hungary to transfer their pensions to Albania or vice versa.
The agreement for social protection was signed by Albanian Minister of Social Welfare and Youth Erion Veliaj, and Hungarian Minister of Trade and Foreign Affairs Peter Szijjarto, who is on an official visit here.
This agreement will allow Albanian citizens that live in Hungary to take advantage of their social contributions they have given to the Hungarian state, according to Veliaj.
The signing of this agreement will also help Albania to sign such agreements with other states where the number of Albanian emigrants is considerable, said the minister.
