Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has called on democrats and citizens to join the protest this Saturday at 12:00 noon, in support of the students and high school students who have been involved in protests for days.
“I am here before you today to call on Democrats, on citizens across Albania, on Saturday at 12:00 noon, to join the most powerful protest the country has ever seen, in support of the student revolt. The student revolt is, in fact, the fiercest and most successful confrontation of Albanian youth with the narco-state, the narco-regime, and its godfather Edi Rama.
The streets and squares of Tirana are witnesses to acts of the greatest bravery and courage ever seen, but also to the barbarity of brutish attitudes, of Edi Rama’s narco-bandits, who are defending a political corpse in its final convulsions.
The revolt of the students and high school students of Tirana has become the great hope of all Albanians.
That is why Saturday is the day that invites every Albanian to stand alongside them. Alongside the sons and daughters of the citizens of this country, alongside the brave and daring ones who are doing what every citizen should be doing. The students and high school students have won an extraordinary national and international sympathy.
You know, in recent months Albania has very often been in the headlines of the world’s media, but the reporting on the student revolt surpasses all other developments in Europe and the world in terms of support, sympathy and visibility. So once again I invite Democrats, men and women, to join us this Saturday, in a repeat of last Saturday, when they strongly supported us.
I invite every citizen, no one invites more, nothing attracts more: Albanians of all convictions should unite against this great common evil that bears the name Edi Rama. You heard it: an entire generation finds it hard to understand what it means that Edi Rama has turned into the spawn of his cruel fathers, because they did not experience it, they were fortunate, they did not experience a single day, or they were young children during the communist dictatorship.
But the truth is that this bastard of the red blocks is displaying their inhuman psychology every day, displaying every day hatred for political opponents and hatred for ordinary citizens. The unity of all forces and efforts against this evil is the surest way to remove it as quickly as possible,” Berisha stated in a media appearance.
