Chanting “Resign!” and “Rama to prison, Berisha to prison,” students continue their march through the streets of the capital, demanding the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama and not stopping even as the rain falls.
During the walk through the streets of Tirana, protesters have also chanted other slogans such as “Albania for Albanians, death to traitors” and “Down with the patronage-holders.”
The protest against Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Albanian political class has been going on for 22 days. Students insist on the demand for the head of government’s resignation, while the marches in the capital continue despite the rain.
