Democratic Party MPs Bardh Spahia, Belind Këlliçi, Tomorr Alizoti, Besart Xhaferi, Zija Ismaili and Xhelal Mziu visited the Trauma Hospital and denounced that protesters are facing extreme violence from law enforcement forces and others.
MP Spahia said some citizens have avoided seeking medical assistance out of fear of law enforcement structures. Spahia stated that the injured have suffered damage from blows with batons, stones and rubber bullets, while some of them have needed surgical intervention. He also mentioned people with spinal fractures and head injuries.
He also denounced the presence in the hospital of people wearing masks and without identifying marks who, according to him, are intimidating the injured and creating an atmosphere of fear in the premises where they seek medical help.
