Today marks the 10th student protest. The protest began at 09:00 in front of parliament, where there were also tensions during the session in which the protest was discussed.
Citizens continue to remain in the squares and are now in front of the Prime Ministry, where they are staying calm, as they did on Wednesday evening. The students’ single demand is the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Students have called a national protest on Saturday, 24 October, in front of the Ministry of Education.
Over the past nine days, the protests have been accompanied by clashes between students and police, as well as the burning of institutional property.
