Leader of the Bashkë Movement, Arlind Qori, comments on Veliaj’s letter about Rama after the meeting with Justice Minister Toni Gogu. During his speech, he had a debate with analyst Arjan Curri, who stated that if Veliaj is corrupt, then he cannot tell the truth.
Qori: Edi Rama has not left a bearded man or a headscarved woman at the protest without slandering them as Iranian agents. First, they are not Iranian agents. Second, even if they had been in Iran once in their lives, that does not make them Iranian agents. Edi Rama knows very well that Erion Veliaj has no influence on the protest, except perhaps if he has his own spies inside the protest.
Curri: If Veliaj is corrupt, then a thief cannot tell the truth because it doesn’t hold up.
Qori: How doesn’t it hold up? It holds up to save himself.
Curri: Do you know what the difference between you and Jesus Christ is?
Qori: It doesn’t matter at all.
Curri: It matters. Did you quote it? The difference between you and Jesus Christ is this. Jesus Christ is a “Marxist with God,” while you are Christians who do not believe in God. Jesus Christ is a communist with God, you are communists without God.
