A small group of protesters has returned in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, attempting to stay on the Boulevard, but they were blocked by police forces.
Blue-uniformed officers formed a cordon to prevent the road from being blocked, while vehicle traffic resumed in the area. Despite the police intervention, the protesters refused to leave.
The situation escalated further when officers used pepper spray against citizens and journalists present at the scene.
Clashes thus accompanied the protesters’ return in front of the Prime Minister’s Office building.
