The powerful explosion that shook a residential building in Elbasan today, killing one person and injuring 10 others, has also left serious consequences for the building’s residents.
As a result of the explosion, the building suffered considerable structural damage, with two floors collapsing and the fifth floor being destroyed. In this situation, 15 families living in the building have been left homeless.
To provide assistance, the Municipality of Elbasan has arranged their temporary accommodation in a dormitory near the damaged building.
Meanwhile, it is reported that three of the affected families are currently abroad.
