Business figure Ergys Agasi’s communications with two Israeli citizens have become part of the arguments the SPAK (Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime) has used to support suspicions about the risk of flight by former SHISH director Vlora Hyseni.
According to sources cited by Report TV, in these exchanges Agasi spoke of his close relationship with Hyseni, presenting her as someone with whom he had a close friendship. In a message dated 22 August, sent to an Israeli citizen saved in the phone as Shalev Israel, Agasi wrote: “I have a close friend, the head of the intelligence service.”
Another communication, dated 6 August, took place via the Signal app with Israeli citizen Srulik Einhorn Koces. In this conversation, Agasi claimed that the director of the intelligence service would meet with a person to present evidence related to the case and to cast doubt on the prosecutor’s motives.
SPAK has considered these communications as elements supporting suspicions about the connections and influence Agasi claimed to have at high levels of institutions. According to sources, this data was also used in arguing the need to keep Vlora Hyseni under house arrest, in order to prevent the risk of her leaving the country.
