In just 3 minutes, a masked and armed man robbed the cash register of a second-level bank in the Paris Commune area on Monday morning.
Based on footage from the bank’s security cameras, which are now in the hands of investigators, it is believed that the still-unidentified perpetrator was familiar with the bank’s layout and how it operates.
As soon as he entered the bank premises, masked with a balaclava and pistol in hand, he threatened the guard, isolating him in the rear part of the bank. He then jumped over the teller counter and took everything he found in the drawer. According to the bank, the perpetrator managed to take about 60,000 euros.
Afterwards, without disturbing or injuring anyone, he left the area on a scooter.
Tirana Police have set up an investigative team for the case and are working in several directions to identify and arrest this robber.
