Sali Berisha calls for opposition parties to unite ahead of the May 9, 2027 local elections. At a press conference on Tuesday, the Democratic Party leader said only a united front can topple the current government.
“Edi Rama does not hold elections, and anyone who believes Edi Rama holds elections is deceiving themselves. But uniting all opposition forces, whether in electoral positions, protests, or in every other respect, is the only way to confront the narco-dictators or authoritarian dictators. We are open.
We will do everything to cooperate with everyone without exception, with all political forces, all associations, and all actors who are determined, or who consider Edi Rama the greatest evil of this country, to remove him, whether in the electoral field, in the field of protests, or in any other field. Only a united front can achieve the change that Albanians are impatiently awaiting,” Berisha said.
