Today as well, this Saturday, the protest by students and high school pupils, also supported by citizens and parents, has turned violent against the police. Protesters have set fire to rubbish bins and blocked the Durrës road in Tirana. Police are firing tear gas.
Some protesters told the media that “we are being shot with rubber bullets”. However, when asked by the media, the police say there is no truth to this.
Meanwhile, today the protest is also taking place in other cities such as Durrës, Shkodër, Vlorë, Elbasan, etc.
