A moment of tension was recorded during today’s protest in front of the Prime Minister’s Office.
Taulant Balla, chairman of the Socialist Party’s parliamentary group, posted footage on social media of a clash between protesters and a citizen who was lying near the Prime Minister’s Office building.
According to Balla, the citizen was attacked after calling for dialogue. “Violent protesters attack a citizen who dared to utter the word: dialogue,” he wrote.
The citizen had been standing in front of the Prime Minister’s Office since the morning, calling for dialogue between the parties. When the protesters arrived in the area, the situation became tense and he became involved in a clash with some of them.
Afterwards, the citizen left and was placed on the steps of the Prime Minister’s Office, where he lay for several minutes. Subsequently, an ambulance arrived at the scene and took him to provide the necessary medical assistance.
