Head of the PS parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, has congratulated Shaip Kamberi on his re-election as a deputy in the Serbian National Assembly, while the Albanian Coalition is on course to secure two mandates and remains in contention for a third. According to Balla, the coalition received 27,230 votes in preliminary results, a result he attributes to the political unity of Albanians in Serbia.
”I have just congratulated my colleague and friend Shaip Kamberi on his re-election as deputy and leader of the united Albanian list. Two mandates for Albanians in the Serbian National Assembly, with a contest for a third.
According to last night’s preliminary results, the “Albanian Coalition” received 27,230 votes, which, with the 35% increase in electoral coefficients for national minorities, gives a calculated value of 36,761 votes. This is the result of political unity, citizens’ trust and shared commitment to dignified representation”, writes Balla.
