Head of the Democratic Party’s parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, has reacted to the case of Erjon Vishkulli, referring to statements by his sister about the funding of his treatment in Italy.
According to Bardhi’s reaction, Erion Vishkulli’s sister has stated that the trip and treatment of the young man in Italy were made possible by the family’s savings and the help of friends, and not by the state, thus contradicting the version presented by Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Meanwhile, shortly before, Prime Minister Edi Rama announced that ‘‘the initiative for the specialized medical service was not taken by “persons”, I took it personally, and his trip to Rome by medical aircraft, as well as the coverage of expenses, were made possible precisely by the STATE and by no one else”.
