The protest that has been held for 21 days in front of the Prime Minister’s Office was accompanied by another symbolic act by the participants.
A group of protesters placed two effigies opposite the Prime Minister’s Office building, depicting Prime Minister Edi Rama and the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha.
Placed side by side, the figures held placards with the ironic message: “As long as I live, I want power.”
After placing them, the protesters set fire to the two figures, turning this act into another protest message against the two main figures of Albanian politics.
