Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc has become a father for the first time. He and his wife, Alexandra, announced the birth of their daughter, whom they named Bianca, through their social media accounts. Their post contained only the word “Bianca”, accompanied by a white heart and a photo of the newborn’s tiny feet.
News that the birth was imminent began circulating when Ferrari announced that Dino Beganovic would take part in the first free practice session (FP1) of the Brazilian Grand Prix. Leclerc had temporarily left Brazil to be by his wife’s side.
Immediately after the announcement, the couple’s Instagram account was flooded with congratulatory comments. Among the first to send their wishes were driver Pierre Gasly, as well as the F1 and FIA organisations, who expressed their joy at the wonderful news.
